Building a classroom library will allow my 4th grade students to have books inside our classroom. It will encourage them to chose books to read during independent reading time. These books will also be an addition to my lesson planning in science, social studies and language arts. In my lesson planning, read a louds will be included due to have these books available in the classroom. Classroom read alouds help build community and encourage children to have fun as they learn daily in the classroom. I am excited for my students to have a rich reading classroom library.
