Students will be able to check out books and take them home to read to their families. My original campaign idea is to provide students with books that they can keep at home. If I could get $200 to spend at Scholastic; I would buy my class the 10 books for $1 each (x2). Students would then have books they could practice reading at home. A lot of our students are lower income and the parents try to provide their students with a great school. While we are a public school system, teachers still tend to spend their own money on their students needs.
