Manipulatives allow students to learn from a new perspective. Students are able to learn from a hands on, more engaging approach. I am asking for these manipulatives to help my students develop a better and deeper understanding of curriculum and develop skills that are typically challenging for students to understand. Every child deserves to learn in an atmosphere in which they feel comfortable and safe. The use of fidgets in the classroom setting allow students the ease and comfort in unsettling circumstances or tense situations. By providing fidgets and alternative methods to overcome the unsteadiness anxious situations can bring, students can develop the feeling of safety and enjoyability in the classroom.
