My students are currently gaining competency with Scratch, an online Block-coding software. LEGO has partnered with Scratch, building sets that allow students to be able to build code and program a real robot that they get to build themselves. This alone would make the LEGO Spike set worth it, but especially as we need to be prepared for online learning, this can be done remotely, with the students programming the robot and executing their code from anywhere in the world. By having this resource, I will be able to give my students the same quality of STEM education that students in more affluent areas get.
