I believe that flex seating allows students to feel more at ease and comfortable when learning. They know innately that their teacher wants them to feel like they can move about the classroom, and that translates into them feeling like an integral part of the classroom instead of it being solely teacher-led. Students have a voice in the math classroom, and I want them to know that by giving them comfort and mobility through flex seating, especially since math is one of those subjects that students are apprehensive about. Giving them chairs to move around and wobble on shows that their teacher cares for them by trying to make the classroom more "just for them".

About my class
