Our school offers modified language arts classes that focus on the same standards as the general education students, but at a slower pace with accommodations and modifications. These illustrated Percy Jackson books will provide a visual aid that supports students in their comprehension. Struggling readers often need heavy support with making the words come alive in their head, often leading to a lack of comprehension. Special educators are relentlessly using visuals to aid in comprehension for these struggling readers. Our students will greatly benefit from this resource and will be able to access a difficult text about a Greek mythology.

About my class
