This semester the drama teacher and a dual language middle school classroom teacher are pairing up to help students learn language (Spanish & English at our bilingual school) through dramatizing scenes from a young adult book by a local author. The students will read the book Echo's Sister by Paul Moiser in the language their teacher feels they need to strengthen and adapt moments from the book into dramatized scenes. The author of the book will come visit the class to help support the project and give students a meaningful real world experience of adapting a book for performance.

About my class
