These materials will be provided as a supplement to students who need an alternative outlet for their creativity. Depending on projects some students will work at a quick pace and will want to direct their energy on another task. Construction is a great tool to engage students and help support gross and fine motor skills. If they struggle with imagination they may instead show interest and get enjoyment from things like counting or sorting these shapes and objects. I want to provide as many possibilities to support what children can do rather than bring attention to what they can't.
