Plushes: The plushes will be used to provide visuals for studying and understanding astronomy in Earth Science. Students often comprehend information better when they can see something up close. Greenhouse and Plants: The goal of the classroom greenhouse is to facilitate student understanding of environmental processes that influence plant life and growth. Earth Science students specifically will tend to the plants from seed to fully grown. They will learn to care for another living being and develop character skills such as empathy and compassion. I will also use the plants to relate real-life examples to processes discussed in class. Classroom Supplies: Pencils and markers will be available for students that need them to complete assignments and put a creative touch on their work.
