These activities will be used to help my students grow in math. Hands-on activities are needed to help students understand and practice the different math skills. First graders learn more from doing things with their hands. Being a kid should be fun even while learning. Play-based learning is an important way to develop active learning. When children play, they explore the world and build on their understanding of the natural and social environments around them. The games, toys, puzzles, and other materials that I've selected for this project will increase the time spent on play in my classroom while enhancing literacy skills!
