These science books will be used to enhance our science and guided reading instruction in our kindergarten classrooms. The books selected provide real photographs, diagrams and vocabulary that will help children gain understanding of kindergarten science standards. The book sets will allow the kindergarten teachers to work with guided reading groups based on their students' reading levels. These books will open the door for science discovery in the early childhood classroom. Help provide these early readers engaging science books that will foster curiosity, knowledge and a strong reading foundation through guided reading.
