I'm an 8th-grade teacher in Glendale Heights, Illinois. Over the summer, I read a professional text integrating strategies to make a classroom library more appealing to students. Especially at the 8th-grade level, it can be quite a challenge to establish reading habits in students who don't identify as a reader. This year more than any other, considering all the time that was lost, I want to inspire my students to read quality books and gain confidence in the area of reading. These bins will allow me to organize an eye-catching bookshelf, as one small way to obtain a classroom of readers!
