In the second grade math classroom it is imperative that students have the ability to quickly show their thinking and be able to make changes while working out mathematical thinking. Having access to the dry erase table and board allow children to seamlessly make calculations and show their thinking. They can interact and "work it out" as they go! Students get off track when there are to many components, and the table takes away the distraction of extra papers and note pads that might get in the way. They have readily available work space!

About my class
