These magazines will enrich my students' reading experience. Each student will have the opportunity to hold their own copy. They will be able to take notes, mark interesting information, and notice how magazines differ from traditional books. This will help them realize that there are many different types of texts they can choose. My students are excited about the world around them and love to share their own information. These magazines will only add to that excitement and help them grow as readers. They will expand their knowledge base and help them visit places and meet people they may never have the opportunity to. I am certain these magazines will enrich our classroom and create independent readers and thinkers.
