I have a very small group of percussionists in my high school band class. In fact, the high school band only consists of two percussionists. That's the whole band class for now, so I lumped in 3 choir kids as we rebuild the program. I wanted to, with barely any equipment to start with, give them a unique experience with different instruments they may have never seen before in the unique flex setting that I have this year, such as a metal tongue drum. Right now they are creating instruments from stuff at home, but I want to give them unique experiences in my classroom.
