These activities will enrich indoor recesses. They will complement science through hands-on activities. Students will learn letters/sounds/reading through more than pencil and paper! My students are looking for exciting ways to connect objectives needing to be taught to the real world. First graders ask LOTS of inquiring questions about WHY this and WHY that. These materials selected were chosen with the intent to motivate and entice learning. Hopefully, some of the WHYs of the world will be answered through exciting hands-on activities! Due to our district funding all materials for kiddos, the teachers have to dig in their own pockets for the ‘fun’ and motivating activities. Please help my students have fun while learning!
