I currently have a roster of 28 resource students. This means they are coming into their grade at a below basic or far below basic level. They struggle in class, so I try to teach them in new and exciting ways when they come to me. iPads are an amazing way for the students to have fun at the same time as learning. Many educational games can be downloaded as well as other devices that sync with an iPad. I use them to teach letter recognition, spelling, simple math, and other enrichment subjects. The addition of two iPads would give our students immeasurable options in their learning experiences.
