The blank Unifix Cubes will be used to segment words and/or touch for syllables. I will write on the blank Unifix cubes with a marker to make individualized lessons for each student. These cubes will address their reading and spelling individualized goals. My students respond better to tactile learning. They enjoy seeing the letters connect to make words and the words connect to make sentences. The books will make my students curious about reading. I will use the books to teach reading by modeling how to read and how to use the pictures to help understand the text. I am hoping my students will enjoy the variety of topics and it will encourage them to explore more books.
