This project will help provide my students with a flexible seating option. Depending on the activity, and/or student, a standing desk can be a great option. Many students find that they focus better while using a standing desk, especially those that require movement breaks throughout the day. Sometimes though, students are tired, especially toward the end of the day, and would rather be able to have the option to stand while working. The desk I am asking for can be used as a standing desk at various heights or can be used as a traditional seated desk all with the push of a button! Having an easy-to-use flexible seating option such as this desk will go a long way toward helping my students stay more engaged with their work. The standing desk will easily move around the room to allow students to move closer to a certain area or work in a more quiet space of our room. The desk would be great for partner work as well! It would allow flexibility and social distancing if needed.
