Kindergarten is a new beginning for early readers. Creating flash cards for individual students will aid them in the classroom as well as at home. This will include: Alphabet Phonemic skills and most common word knowledge. The students will gain insight to writing using the Easel writing pad. Early Reading is a must in Kindergarten. Students will use the Early Reading books and Sight word books everyday in our classroom. Students will also share their reading with others in the school setting. Students will also be able to have fun with Stem activities using the Brain Flake manipulatives. This helps encourage students to build and create exciting inventions.
