Our students will be using the books you purchase to get a novel in their hands after spending eighteen months doing nearly everything digitally. I want to have them hold books and turn pages to reconnect with the organic process of learning. Ender's Game is one book in a series written by Orson Scott Card that explores themes of action, adventure, science fiction, and bravery. This book will hopefully, inspire students to find a genre of reading that is similar to those novels they have read and loved in previous grades. These books will travel to and from school and be used in class to identify specific examples of foreshadowing, theme, symbols, and imagery. At home, they will use the text to read and answer comprehension questions that will challenge their reading abilities.
