These materials will allow students to “make deposits” in their “word bank” as they learn vocabulary- and have a permanent place for it all year. These items will allow students to have reference materials all year long. The binders will be individualized for each student, and will house their writing journal, student-created dictionary/word bank, and work samples throughout the year. The notebooks will afford students a space in which they can practice writing, journaling, and chronicle their English language acquisition progress. These materials will play a crucial role in my English learners’ immersion in and acquisition of the English language. Use of these materials will truly make a profound difference!
