My students love to be read to, want to read on their own. These phonics materials and books will help my students with developing a understanding of letter sound connections, decoding words, phonemic awareness and develop a love for literacy. Some of my students will be learning foundational literacy skills to support their emergent reading and writing development. Other students will be learning strategies to decode and write words, and complex vowel patterns . All students will be building their vocabulary and comprehension through discussing and writing about what read, as well as understanding that reading is all things fun.
