These will be for in classroom learning, especially for small group instruction. This way I can work with small groups of students on their level to better meet their needs. I will also display their work on bulletin boards, so that everyone can see the wonderful work they have been doing. This definitely helps promote self confidence. The people cutouts will be for the first week of school, for students to do an activity called, "All About Me." This gives me, the teacher, a better way to get to know my students. The laminator is so that I can laminate and display anchor charts for the students to use while learning new topics and skills. The books/cards I ordered are for learning the essential skills for their SOL’s such as Main Idea, Inferencing, etc.... using these in small groups will allow me to work with students on their level. Some of the other things are just supplies for the students and classroom as many of the families cannot afford to go and get supplies.
