Each year I have the privilege of teaching an enthusiastic group of First Grade kids. They love to learn, and they especially enjoy playing games and interacting with each other. First Grade used to be a time of not only learning, but socializing, playing, and enjoying every moment of being 6 years old. Unfortunately, with rigorous curriculum requirements, sometimes the fun gets away from us. It is my goal each year to make sure my students interact with one another, play games, and have fun even when they are learning the fundamentals. The best part of my day is when a child tells me that that they had so much fun today!
