Block play facilitates a child's learning and understanding of math and science concepts. Increasing the amount of blocks within the classroom will allow for more children to participate in building structures and increase social interactions between students. This will also limit the amount of time children spend waiting for a turn to play with the few existing blocks and accessories. This is critical as most of the students attending our program do not have access to blocks and other building materials at home. Blocks provide students the opportunity to explore STEM concepts through play.

About my class
