Many high school students are unable to provide their own school supplies which is humiliating. By stocking a student supply center in my classroom, students will have everything they need for school and an equal chance to achieve regardless of their family's financial means. A classroom set of colored pencils, pens, and pencils will enable all students to complete their notes along with colorful diagrams and drawings to aid in their learning. Studies show people remember best when they have written the information down by hand. Students will have authentic representations of all they are learning in science.
