As a first year science teacher, there are so many things I want to do with my kids that I just cannot afford right now. Experiments, technology that I can incorporate into lessons, and lab equipment are what is most needed to allow my kids the immersive experience that I want to give them. They are excited for science and I hope to show them that it is involved in so much of the world around them. I especially hope to encourage my female and POC students to go into the field by showing them what a difference they can make in the world.
