This project will provide a wide variety of seating options for my students. These students need flexibility in how they choose to sit and focus on the tasks at hand. Our students have many needs ranging from sensory to mobile availability. They require extra support and care to make sure their essentials are met and they feel secure and comfortable. We work cooperatively with their teachers to provide support academically as well as emotionally and behavioral. Having options like these for the students will help meet their sensory development daily. Each morning the students will get to choose a seat of their choice for the day. This will allow them to explore all seating options or stick to what they know and like. I believe that providing all these options will make the classroom feel more "like home" for the students to be able to complete their daily tasks.
