Giving students access to the most important document our country has is an invaluable way to give them the answers they need and to remind them that they should always double check before making a claim, especially when they want to support it with evidence. The mental and physical reminder of the fundamentals of civics class will keep students actively remembering their duty to be an informed citizen and will help them make connections to other topics in civics as well as across the curriculum.
