As a teacher of STEM, I would like to provide students at Maury with the materials and education that will allow them to pursue whatever career they are interested in. I would also like to encourage students who may not be interested in STEM careers to look deeper and explore STEM experiences through LEGO. LEGO describes it best. “ Spike Essential isn’t your run-of-the-mill Lego set, it’s an entire mini STEAM curriculum that happens to use Lego building blocks as its base. Overall, the set focuses on storytelling as an educational technique, allowing students to solve various problems through play.”

About my class
