I base my teaching on building relationships and learning from all the things that surround you. My students will be able to comfortably work in groups as they collaborate and learn. They will have options to sit at a low table with cushions and sit around on a couch and bean bags. Sitting and engaging with peers in a safe and comfortable environment will support productive conversation amongst students with facilitation from the teacher. Being in an active classroom allows students to get wiggles out while creating more energy for focus. Allowing students to pedal or bounce their legs during a lesson will help students focus on the content they are learning. Active bodies = active brains! Lastly, I would like to expand my classroom library. Having multiples of a book lets students to partner read and create book clubs. Thank you for considering donation. It is greatly appreciated!
