The use of labs and hands-on learning has been wildly reseaerched. If students are engaged their learning is changed, they learn easier, and it becomes more relevant for them. The labs I requested are just that a way to increase understanding of two difficult concepts covered in Biology. Inquiries in Science classes can have a profound effect on student learning, when giving the tools to make learning fun, it can transformational. These two labs will do just that. they exceed our typical lab budget, especially with mass budgets all over the country. teachers are often asked to do more with less. I frequently spend my own money on my students, because I don't want them to have learning gaps.
