My students need a warm and welcoming environment to come exactly as they are to start the school year on the right foot. I've chosen motivational posters that represent and empower my students for this very reason. My goal is to build a safe and inclusive environment in my classroom to motivate my students. With safety in mind, we are following CDC guidelines as well as guidance from our local health officials to ensure that COVID 19 safety is priority.
Given these necessary restrictions I want our classroom to be full of color, life, and ample things to engage with it. I am a math teacher at heart and want to show my students how fun STEM is and how it helps shape the world around us. This is why I carefully selected Math charts to display as this will be the first time my 3rd graders will learn in-depth about multiplication, division, fractions, time and more.
Green and plants have proven to help create tranquil environments and that is exactly the feeling I want my students to feel when they walk into our classroom ready to display their super smart thinking. I made all my choices intentionally centering student experience. Please help me bring my vision to light to keep my wonderful students excited throughout our school year especially during these challenging times.
