It is important to me that my students feel safe and represented in their new classrooms. They will be able to "check out" any books in our classroom library to take home. This way, even if books are not available to them, the learning can continue outside the classroom. I also included some social-emotional texts due to the nature of this school year during a pandemic. There are a lot of strong feelings about what school will look like this year, from students and families alike. In my class, we will take the time to connect as people, not just as learners.
