These reading and learning materials (books and magnets) will be used in the therapy room as well as general education and special education classrooms to promote diversity and help students feel included. These materials will specifically be used for literacy-based intervention for students with receptive and expressive language disorders! As a new Speech Therapist, I want to build a diverse collection of books where my students feel represented and can make a genuine connection with the story characters. This project is very important to me as my school placements have a diverse student population!

About my class
