The purpose of these storage cabinets is to assist my students in learning organizational skills which they will bring with them to middle school, high school, college, or vocational education. My job as their 5th grade teacher is not only to teach academics, but to also provide the opportunity for my students to grow emotionally, socially, and skillfully. By using these storage cabinets, my students will learn skillfully how to keep their school supplies, papers, and books tidy, orderly, and organized. Eventually, this skill will flow naturally into their academics when it comes time to find papers, resources materials, or activities we are working on. Knowing where their stuff is when they need it is one less stress my students do not need. Your help in this project will give them the opportunity to grow skillfully in their educational journey.
