Developing reading skills and the joy of reading are very important to foster a mindset of life-long learning. Students love to go to the library, reading in a cozy nook , and enjoy read alouds by the teacher. Our students in life skills love reading too! We would like for students to apply sensory, visual, verbal, and reading skills as they explore tactile books. Through tactile books, students can explore the word soft, rough, bumpy, etc. The purchase of tactile books will help to make reading fun, warm, and fuzzy!

About my class
