My students will benefit immensely from these items. Many of my students have endured early childhood trauma and have a very hard time regulating their emotions and actions during the school day. Since my students have a hard time regulating emotions and controlling their actions during the school day from trauma, these materials will help their learning environment. The bean bag chairs will help my students get excited for reading and feel comfortable in the classroom. They will also serve as an area for students go when they feel disregulated and need a safe and calm space to be. The headphones will ensure that all my students have an equitable opportunity for learning when they cannot purchase their own headphones. Lastly, the games will bring a new and fun option for students to learn language arts content in a fun and engaging way.
