With these items we will be able to create a wide variety of circuits and, combined with a 3D printer, we will build and program many simple electronic devices. They will build things like a mushroom garden with an LED light show lighting up the mushrooms that they program and design themselves. The Nigerian student I had over the summer was able to build most of a self driving car using things like this! We soldered some PCB boards and he mentioned it reminding him of home in Nigeria and now he understands what he was watching people do when they were repairing electrical devices. I hope to bring that same enlightenment to other students.
