With high school students, confidence is a key component for success. If they look sharp, they'll feel sharp. It will help give them a new mindset that is needed to help them get the "I can" attitude going, instead of all the reasons why "I can't." When students overcome those boundaries of "I can't" and start working towards the "I can" mentality, the difference in them becomes as plain as night and day. They become more successful in school, at home, and life in general. Breaking those boundaries are the difference in building a successful student, and letting a student flounder. By providing matching gym bags for my ball players, I am creating a sense of team. Everyone has a nice new bag that will hold all their stuff. They will look sharp and give them that confidence walking into the gym that will spill over onto the playing court.
