Our classroom currently does not have accessible technology for daily student use. We use specific learning programs and apps that work on touch screen compatible devices. Having iPads in our classroom would allow for individual/small group plans that provide children with differentiated learning through the use of technology. We would be able to ensure that children are getting their designated use of the educational apps and learning in the classroom. The use of iPads for PreK children with a touch screen will also assist our children still working on fine motor skills. I want to ensure that all children have access to technology to use our educational programs/apps daily. We have an educational resource that is provided for our student's, but many families do not access this at home. If we had iPad's in the classroom, I would create a technology center where students could each complete their designated learning. This way I can track and monitor where children are an plan accordingly.
