Recess during COVID 19 times will look different in classrooms! These supplies will help ensure that my students are forming lifeline connections and creating beautiful friendships within my classroom. My goal is to create a safe, fun recess space within my classroom and because of COVID I am limited on what I can do in the classroom. Recess is critical in the social development of a child. I work to develop the WHOLE child and that includes social skills. I am working to help shape the next generation of citizens. Recess is a necessity in my classroom. My scholars are in need of recess toys to help them explore through play and practice their social skills by playing games like kickball, basketball, soccer, and hopscotch! Providing these resources to my students allows them to have structured play. It even allows them to learn which physical activities they enjoy, fostering lifetime activity. Please help my scholars grow not only in the classroom but during recess, too!
