My students are amazing learners who use low tech and high tech communication systems in order to get their wants and needs met. I print visuals and attach them to single message switches, multi-message switches as well as for picture exchange and core board communication. "I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way; things I had no words for" - Georgia O'Keeffe. The requested color printer and ink refills will meet a significant need within our program. At this time, I am unable to provide color visuals to my students. With the support of this project, I will be able to provide the colors to teach discrimination, basic concepts, vocabulary and total communication. Thank you for your consideration!
