My students enjoy coming to the carpet each day to participate in the Interactive Read Aloud. This time is spent listening as high quality books are read aloud by me. During this time, students engage in book discussions that foster their love of reading! The books we read together during Interactive Read Aloud help expose many of my struggling readers to texts they otherwise may not be able to read on their own. My hope is to expand my classroom library this year with books that will engage all of my students!
