These plants will make a huge difference in my students' social-emotional learning. They will ground them, provide a calming presence and also provide a responsibility for students within their learning environment. I expect these plants to connect students to the classroom and ground them in a safe, welcoming space. Social-emotional learning is the foundation of the Advisory period and I will have this small group to mentor all year. I hope to make Advisory a "home" within the school that they can always feel comfortable and safe in. Thank you for helping me do this!
