I am a new teacher starting my first year at a new school. A group meeting rug is so important for building community in the classroom. This rug will provide my sweet kindergarteners a cozy spot to listen to read aloud, participate in whole group activities and sing, dance, and do yoga and mindfulness. The individual dot spots will help each student have their own space so that they can focus on doing their best! A classroom meeting rug can really help make a classroom feel more like home, which is exactly how I want my students to feel when they come into school every day!
