As mentioned above, there is very little available virtually for students to practice and work through laboratory skills. The labs that were once available were in Flash, which has been eliminated. This along with an increase in absences due to Covid-related issues poses many challenges when teaching a lab based classroom. In addition, we always have a possibility that we could return to NTI online learning. Classes like Advanced Biology, MST and AP Biology have high level labs that help apply learning and allow for developing content on a deeper level. This program will allow all students equitable resources for developing these skills. The ice machine allows us a much easier access for in person experiments as often I will stop by the store and then try to keep the ice in solid form, which never last all day. This causes many challenges. We do not have easy access to the cafeteria after lunch for ice access. Both of this will be used consistently and much appreciated by the students!
