Athletics is another form of education outside of the classroom. More importantly, student athletes involved in team sports are better students. I am requesting lacrosse sticks for our Physical Education class and hopefully for an organized team this spring. Lacrosse is high scoring, hard hitting and the fastest game on two feet. Bringing lacrosse to the students at our high school would give them an opportunity to excel in a new and expanding sport. There is a great deal of skill involved with lacrosse as well, and these sticks will give our students an opportunity to learn in PE class and hopefully as an organized sport in Charleston, SC.
