My first graders absolutely love STEM! They are very curious and come to school each day eager to learn and explore. The use of technology in the classroom helps support student learning and allows diverse students to participate in ways that are better suited to their learning styles. It also helps them build the necessary technology skills to be successful and competitive in today's world. With new computers and workstations, my students will be able to do interactive experiments, go on virtual field trips, complete activities that help build their skills in math and science and fuel their curiosity. My students show up each day and amaze me with their intelligence, persistence, and willingness to learn. This project will give them the opportunity to have more enriching learning opportunities.
